A student was absent and now needs to make up a test
A student requires extra time to start assessments for an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP)
A student is moving at a faster pace than the rest of the class

Open Access to an Assessment for an Individual Student from Your Students Tab
Step 1
Sign in to learn.aeseducation.com.
Step 2
Choose a class from your My Classes tab.
Step 3
Click the Students tab.
Step 4
Find and click the student's name.
Step 5
Click the expand symbol, >, under the Assessment Status section to open a list of all assessments in the module or exam.
Step 6
With the list of assessments open, click Open in the Status column to open the assessment.
Step 7
A pop-up will appear on the screen. Choose how long you want the assessment to be available and click Open.
Open Access to an Assessment for an Individual Student from Your Students Tab

Sign in to learn.aeseducation.com.
Step 2
Choose a class from your My Classes tab.
Step 3
Click on the Grades tab of your class.
Step 4
From the Module drop-down menu, select the module or exam that contains the assessment to open.
Step 5
Click on the grade or plus sign for the student and assessment you want to open.
Step 6
In the Assessment Overview section, in the Assessment Status row, click the Open link.
Step 7
A pop-up will appear on your screen. In the Open for drop-down menu, select the duration of time students can start the assessment.

Choose a class from your My Classes tab.

Click the Students tab.
Step 4
Find and click the student's name.
Step 5
Click the expand symbol, >, under the Assessment Status section to open a list of all assessments in the module.

Click the Reset button in the Status column.
Step 7
To edit the amount of time allocated for the assessment, open the assessment again.
