Are you looking for a way to award a student for their hard work in your class?

Do you create student portfolios to showcase what students accomplished in your course?

A certificate of completion is one way AES teachers encourage and celebrate their students!

In this article, you’ll learn how to generate Certificates of Completion for your students.

Step 1

Select the class from your My Classes tab.

Step 2

Click on the Grades tab of your class.

Step 3

In the left-hand menu under Advanced Tools, click Create Certificates.

Step 4

Choose All modules, an individual student, or a single module.

Step 5

Choose a minimum grade percentage for a certificate.

NOTE: The certificates only generate for completed modules. The modules are counted as complete when all the assessments have been taken. You will see a checkmark next to grade averages on your Grades tab (All Modules selected).

Learn how to remove assessments you don’t plan to use from learning modules.

Step 6

Click the Generate Certificates button.

Step 7

In the popup, click the Open PDF button.

Step 8

Print or save the certificates for your students.

Student Certificates are a great way to reward students for their hard work in your class.
